DANNY ELFMAN — HAPPY (BOY HARSHER REMIX)
Producer / 1st AD

It was a surreal experience producing a video for one of the most influential artists to my life, 4 time Academy Award nominee Danny Elfman.

MAREUX — NIGHT VISION
Producer / 1st AD

Following “The Perfect Girl,” I created another video in the same universe. This time, however, I casted Gottmik, a Drag Race finalist and Violet Chachki’s often collaborator.

MAREUX — THE PERFECT GIRL
Producer / 1st AD / Editor

Mareux’s “The Perfect Girl” went viral overnight. I quickly turned a video around starring RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Violet Chachki to lead.

ALEXISONFIRE — MISTAKEN INFORMATION
Producer / 1st AD

Created a video to go hand-in-hand with their album art, which then had assets made to play in Yonge-Dundas Square

SPELLLING — QUEEN OF WANDS
Producer / 1st AD

Created a video that had many elements, including pyro for SPELLLING.

BOY HARSHER — MACHINA
Producer / 1st AD

Created to play within Boy Harsher’s THE RUNNER film, “Machina” serves as a companion release. “Machina” features actor James Duval (DONNIE DARKO, GONE IN 60 SECONDS), Kris Esfandiari (King Woman), Mariana Saldaña (BOAN). THE RUNNER had a small theatrical premiere across the USA, Mexico, and Germany before being released on streaming services Shudder and Mandolin.

TWIN TRIBES — FANTASMAS
Producer / Director / Editor

Twin Tribes gave me lots of freedom for “Fantasmas.” With a one day production schedule, we shot 8 scenes with 6 actors, paying loose homages to horror films and classic horror tropes. With a large crew, we moved quickly through each scene, while always pre-lighting the following.

RIKI — MARIGOLD
Producer / Director / Editor

I worked to create something dreamy but glamorous for “Marigold,” to highlight the new shift and direction Riki underwent on her new record. Each of her looks is glamorous and powerful as we create a theater-like world for her to perform in. It was important for us to have really solid styling, as this video was paired with her record announcement. The dress she wears in her main look was custom made by our stylist.

KING WOMAN — MORNING STAR
Producer / Director

“Morningstar” was the announcement piece of King Woman’s new record. King Woman’s performances have always been powerful and I wanted to highlight this in a video. I opted in for a one take on a circular dolly. This oner, paired with the progression of her performance, wardrobe change, and scar reveal is very effective. We did a total of 4 full takes, with take #3 being the strongest.

BOY HARSHER — COME CLOSER
Producer / Director

We sought out to make visuals to match every one of the song’s characteristics. The track is upbeat, new yet familiar, analog and gritty. It’s sexual, dark, mysterious within a power dynamic. I wanted the opening shot to feel like a vintage horror movie poster as we push in and truly enter this world. This was the first time we had ever used an Analog Imaging Technician to output our footage and remains to be one of my favorite techniques. Also, my favorite compliment of my work: “If the video for Duran Duran’s The Chauffeur was in a K-Hole at the peak of an LSD trip” - Paul Snyder on YouTube.

EIGHTEEN VISIONS — LIVE AGAIN
Producer / Director / Editor

Eighteen Visions defined the now-gigantic metalcore genre during the early 2000s. I was ecstatic to have the opportunity to create visuals for their comeback album. I wanted to create something abstract that would pair well with their progression as musicians, people, and create an atmosphere of despair and loss as the song is also a tribute to late band member Mick Morris.

ANAAL NATHRAKH — OBSCENE AS CANCER
Producer / Director / Editor

Anaal Nathrakh are one of the most influential extreme metal bands out there. The music is visceral, intense, orchestrated chaos with nihilistic lyrics to pair. The song “Obscene as Cancer” pertains to the atrocities of war. Due to budgeting, we wanted something minimal and closeup - a soldier in a foxhole with no real movement or resolve. I pulled in every favor and went back to my roots of building every set ourselves, got pallets donated, and built a full trench with different angles to shoot from. We pre-programmed the Asteras to look like gunfire / rocket trails flying above and had an amazing cast with full wardrobe to create our story of a soldier who witnesses death, overcomes his failed suicide, only to eventually meet his demise by faceless gas.

CEREMONY — TURN AWAY THE BAD THING
Producer / Director / Editor

Ceremony are constantly redefining themselves as a band with every new album, and I wanted to try something different than my previous work. I love dance and have been waiting for a good opportunity to work with professional dancers. The different styles of each dancer are the soul of the visuals of this video as they audition for an undisclosed casting. We had 2 functional VHS cameras on set and all the glitch effects are analog, furthering the blend of VHS/analog and digital that shows up in my work. The overtly vibrant color, experimental keying, and dancers were something new for me, but really love the outcome.

TR/ST — IRIS
Producer / Director / Editor

TR/ST is one of my favorite artists and was beyond excited to get to work together on this. We wanted something emotional, tender, and dreamy, while also trying out some new effects. The glitchy stuttering and repetition were some of my favorite new practical effects we’ve done.

DRAB MAJESTY — OUT OF SEQUENCE
Producer / Director

We enter the world of Drab Majesty - a vibrant, colorful, bizarre, analog-filled world as we engage with a portal - this was the backbone for “Out of Sequence. We let the scenes play out a lot more as we slow down and soak in the visuals, intercut with their performance, all then converted from digital to analog. There is a physical “Out of Sequence” VHS with an edit.

CARNIFEX — VISIONS OF THE END
Producer / Director

Losing control physically, mentally, and experiencing absolute despair were the themes for “Visions of the End.” We sought out to create something brutal and harrowing. We opted in for a completely static shots of live performance (as opposed to traditional high-camera-movement for metal bands) to juxtapose against the chaotic narrative. Violent and experimental scenes that portray people moments before they die and lose their sanity play more intensely on screen following static band performances.

MOTIONLESS IN WHITE — BREAK THE CYCLE
Producer / Director / Editor

I made Break The Cycle as the last video for Motionless In White’s releases for their Reincarnate record - the album that started a major shift for the band. We built 3 different sets ourselves for this video, ending with a VFX setup where the singer shoots his mirror self. This video has racked up over 10 million views on YouTube.
